Abdullah ibn Abd al-Muttalib (* um 545, † um 570) war der Vater des Propheten Mohammed. Abdullah entstammte dem arabischen Clan der Quraysh in Mekka; sein Großvater war Haschim, der Stammvater der Haschimiten, sein Vater war Abd al-Muttalib. Abdullahs Ehefrau war Amina; er selbst starb vor der Geburt Mohammeds, keine 25 Jahre alt, sodass dieser von der Mutter und vom Großvater Abd al-Muttalib großgezogen wurde.
