Marriage record found in Volume 007, Page 0119. She is listed as Dora Lawrence. Certificate #18379. She became a member of Island Grove Methodist Church on November 26, 1906. Rev. Dr. Schaffer officiated her funeral. Source - her obituary. Obituary: Sandidge, Mrs. Dora Anna - Died at 4:30 a.m. Monday, March 7, 1921, at Springfield hospital, of complications. 42 years old. Survivors are the husband, Richard J. Sandidge; one daughter, Edith; her mother, Mrs. Anna Lawrence; one sister, Mrs. T. W. Wilson; four brothers, Fred, William, Charles and George Lawrence. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at the residence near New Berlin and at 2:30 o'clock at the Island Grove M. E. church, Rev. Dr. Schaffer officiating. Interment will be made in Wood Wreath cemetery. Illinois State Journal - Tuesday, 3/8/1921. Her death certificate says she died at 4:30 a.m. at Springfield Hospital. She died of multiple emboli with the contributing factor of pelvic inflammatory disease. Her year of birth is incorrectly given as 1879. The Woodwreath Cemetery receipt gives her date of burial as March 8, 1921. It confirms her place of death as Springfield Hospital. Buried in Section 8, Row 2. Her year of birth is given in error as 1875.
