Mrs. Theresa (Slagle) Mishler,widow of Jacob Mishler, who had suffered from a complication of ailmentsfor the last two years, died yesterday afternoon at the home of hersister, Mrs.Caroline (Slagle) Livingston, Benscreek, yesterday being the84th anniversary of the birth of Mrs. Mishler. Mrs. Mishler made her home on F Street, 19th. Ward, for some 50 years.Her husband passed away here a few years ago. He was a veteran of theCivil War and worked for many years in the Cambria Mills following thewar. Four children were born to the Christina, Catherine, Fred, andCharles Mishler. The later died suddntly late in December last and theold mother lay in the same room with her sons body for sometime beforeaid reached her. Since the death of Charles Mishler, the octogenarian wascared for by Mrs. Livingston, who is the only surviving sister of thedeceased. Mrs. Mishler was born in Germany April 1, 1846. A daughter of Augustusand Christina (Frank) Slagle, who came to America and settled in thisplace in the fall of that year. They crossed the Atlantic Ocean in asailing vessel and spent several mont in making the voyage. Miss Slagleand Jacob Mishler were married here many years ago and spent most oftheir married life in Morrellville. Mrs. Mishler, was one of the oldestmembers of Zion Luthern Church, whose Pastor, the Rev. Theodore Buch, wilconduct funeral services at the Viering Funeral Home, Franklin Street, at2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, with interment in Grandview Cemetery.
