The son of Joseph Henry and Amelia Mollie Hahn Falk. He married Margareth Helen Rose Rohm September 26, 1916, they had 7 children. Observer Dispatch Sunday, October 1944 FOUR FALK'S IN SERVICE Mr. and Mrs. Norbert M. Falk, 631 James, now have four sons in Uncle Sam's service. They are M Sgt Norbert C. Falk: Howard G. petty officer 2c; Pvt. William J. and Pvt. John Falk. With more then two years of service in Alaska behind him, Sgt Norbert C. Falk is stationed at Camp Crowder, Mo. as instructor. He is a UFA graduate, entered the Army in June 1941; received basic training at Ft. Monmonth, N. J. in the Signal Corps and left in November of that year for Alaska where he remained until December. Petty Officer Howard Falk enlisted in the Navy in October 1942, completed his boot training at Simpson, entered the navel Technical School at Jacksonville, Fla, was graduated there as an aviation machinist material; attended an advanced school at Norfolk and has been stationed at the Navel air Base in Florida for the past nine months and until sent recently to San Diego, Calif, where he is attending hydraulic school. He is a graduate of Proctor High School. Pvt. William Falk now with the U. S. Air Corps in Southern France, received his training at Atlantic City, Seymore Johnson Field, N. C. Ocean side, Oregon and Fresno, Calif. He went overseas last February and was stationed with a signal air warning battalion until recently when transferred to France. He was a member of the proctor football team and of the 1942 graduating class at Proctor. Pvt. John Falk left for Camp Upton with a local contingent last December was sent to Camp Walters, Texas for his basic training. In July he went to Camp Butner, N. C. where he is attached to the 89th Infantry. He is a former Proctor student. PAGE 2, UTICA OBSERVER DISPATCH, UTICA, NEW YORK, SATURDAY, JANUARY 5,1957 Norbert M. Falk, 66, of 631 James St., died Jan. 5, 1957, in his home after a long illness. He was born Oct. 1, 1890, in Utica, son of Joseph and Amelia Hahn Falk and attended local schools. On Sept 26, 1916, in St. Joseph's Church, he married Margaret Rohm. Mr. Falk had been employed as a printer at the Utica State Hospital for 15 years, until his retirement in 1946. He was a communicant of the Church of the Blessed Sacrament. Besides his wife, he leaves 4 sons, Norbert C., Syracuse, Howard G. and William J., Utica, three daughters, Mrs. Anthony DeNegro, Miss Betty J. Falk and Miss Jane Falk; five sisters, Mrs. George Seubert, Miss Elizabeth Falk, Miss Agnes Falk, Miss Marguerite Falk and Mrs. William McCabe, all of Utica, 14 grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews. The funeral will be held at 9 Tuesday from the Ortnier Funeral Home, 130 Eagle St. and at 9:30 from the Church of the Blessed Sacrament where a requiem mass will be offered. Internment in St. Agnes Cemetery.
