Waldschmidt 82, of Town of Forest, widow of CharlesWaldschmidt died at 10:30 p.m. Monday at the home of her son, WalterWaldschmidt following a lengthy illness. Born April 28, 1873 in Town ofEmpire, daughter of Adam and Anna Grebe Scherer, she was married to Mr.Waldschmidt on June 29, 1893, in the Town of Forest, where they farmed.Mr. Waldschmidt died March 9, 1939. Mrs. Waldschmidt was a lifelongmember of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Forest. Survivors are fivechildren; Mrs. Paul Roeseler of Lomira, Walter Waldschmidt of Route 1,St. Cloud, Harry and Alvin Waldschmidt of Campbellsport, and ReinhardWaldschmidt of Crystal Falls, Michigan; three brothers, George Scherer ofthe city, William and Otto of Route 1, Mt. Calvary, a sister Mrs. PaulineRady of the city; and 25 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. Adaughter, Mrs. Joseph Hochrein preceded her in death. Friends may call at the Candlish chapel tonight until 10:30 a.m.Thursday, when the body will be taken to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church,Forest for funeral services at 2 p.m. The Rev. Oscar Siegler willofficiate. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Commonwealth Reporter - Dated: 10-14-1955 Funeral services for Mrs. Emma K. Waldschmidt who died MOnday were heldat 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Forest. The Rev. OscarSeigler officiating. Fred Hagedorn was at the organ and a quartetcomposed of Kenneth Carlson and Edgar Krug and Arnmold Schmidt sang.Burial was in Forest Cemetery. Pallbearers were: James Peterson, EugeneReitz, Marvin Kauhl, Vernon Waldschmidt, Wilmer Roesler, MarvinWaldschmidt, grandsons. Out of town persons attending were from CrystalFalls, Michigan, Chicago, Milwaukee, Allenton, Shyboygan, Greenbush,Waupun and surrounding areas.
