SCHERER Funeral Services Will Be Held Monday at St. Peters Church Mrs. Anna Scherer, wife of Adam Scherer, 238 Third Street, died at herhome at 9:45 a.m. today. Anna Grebe was born in Germany October 30, 1850, coming to America whenshe was 17 years old to settle on a farm in the Town of Forest. She wasmarried to Adam Scherer on April 28, 1872, and they lived on a farm inthe Town of Forest until nine years ago, when they came to Fond du Lac. Besides her widower, Mrs. Scherer leaves 11 children, Mrs. CharlesWaldschmidt of Forest, Mrs. Marie Gneiser of this city, Mrs. BenoBuchholz of the Town of Fond du Lac, Henry of the Town of Taycheetah, Mrs. Otto Krug of Fond du Lac, Mrs. Henry Rady of the Town of Fond duLac, George of Empire, William of Forest, Paul of Eden, Otto of Forestand Walter of Glenbeulah. There are also 28 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and fourbrothers, George, Henry, John and Louis Grebe of this city. Two sisters,Mrs. Henry Knopke and Mrs. John Hinn preceded her in death. The funeral will be held at the residence at 1:30 p.m. Monday and at 2p.m. from St. Peters Lutheran Church, the Rev. G.E. Bergemann willofficiate and burial will be in Estabrook Cemetery. Commonwealth Reporter - Dated: 12-27-1927 MANY ATTEND SERVICES Funeral Services of Mrs. Anna Scherer Held From St. Peters Church With the endifice taxed to capacity, funeral services for Mrs. Ada,Scherer, who died Friday, were held at 2p.m. at St. Peters LutheranChurch. The Rev. G>E. Bergemann officiated and also conducted briefservices at the residence, 238 Third Street, at 1:30 p.m. Pallbearers were Harry Gneiser, Walter Waldschmidt, Norman Krug, ReinholdScherer, Arnold Buchholz and Harry Waldschmidt.
