Immel, 81, of 164 Bischoff St. willbe held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Covenant United Methodist Church. TheRev. Roger Becker will officiate. Burial will be in Ledgeview MemorialPark Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Uecker-Witt FuneralHome and Thursday at the church from 12:30 p.m. until the time ofservices. Memorials may be directed to the Fond du Lac Cancer Society orCovenant United Methodist Church. Mrs. Immel died Monday, Feb. 10, 1986 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born July 31, 1904, a daughter to William and Lillian AllinsonJannusch at the Towno f Nepueskun, Winnebago County. On Aug. 25, 1926,she was married to Milton Immel at the family home in Nepeuskun. She wasa member of Covenant United Methodist Church. She and her husband had farmed in the Town of Empire for 32 years before moving to Fond du Lac.She attended Berlin Normal School and taught in the Allenton Publicschools for several years. In later years she attended Marian College andgraduated in 1968, receiving her teaching degree, She taught at SouthByron School; Edison School, Town of Empire; Mitchell School, Town ofOsceola; and Liberty and Luco Schools. She was affiliated with Alpha PhiSociety of Covenant United Methodist Church, and served as secretary ofMiriam Fellowship. She was also a member of United Methodist Women. She was affiliated with local, state and national granges for many yearsand was presently a member of the South Byron Grange. She was a 4-Hleader in Fond du Lac County and was a member of Friendship Homemakers, acharter member of Friendly Neighbors Homemakers ands was past secretaryof Fond du Lac County Homemakers. She was a member of the Fond du LacCounty Retired Teachers Association, secretary of the Fond du Lac CancerSociety and a past president of Chapter 614 of the American Association of Retired Persons. She was also a member of the Fond du Lac Ostomy Association, the Fond duLac Federated Womens Club and had been recognized as one of Fond du LacCountys outstanding senior citizens. In recent years, she had been avolunteer at the Fond du Lac County Health Care Center. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Frederick (Naomi) Krueger, Mrs.Robert (Nina) Krueger, Mrs. Gladys Klaske and Mrs. Richard (Mary) Soll,all of Fond du Lac; one son, M. Douglas of Route 6; 17 grandchildren; 15great-grandchildren; one brother, Milton Jannusch of Route 2, Berlin. Shewas preceded in death by her husband on June 19, 1974; one brother andone sister.
