[Krug-Grunwald-Tree.GED] OBITUARY-Fond du Lac Reporter - Dated: 6-20-1974 Milton L. Immel, 74, of 148 Bischoff St., director of Fond du Lac Midland Cooperative for 30 years, died at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday at MapleManor Nursing Home. He was formerly employed by Immel Construction Co. as a timekeeper from1926 to 1931 where he and his wife farmed until 1963 when they returnedto the city. Mr. Immel was active in community affairs, serving as secretary ofMidland Cooperative for 17 years. He was a member of the former DotyvilleGrange, the Pomona Grange and South Byron Grange and St. Matthews UnitedMethodist Church. Born in the Town of Empire on March 24, 1900, he was the son of G. Frankand Augusta Greinert Immel. He married Lucille Jannusch at Berlin onAugust 25, 1926. Surviving are his widow; four daughters, Mrs. Fred Krueger, Mrs. RobertKrueger, Mrs. Gladys Klaske and Mrs.Richard L. Soll all of Fond du Lac;and a son, M.Douglas Immel, residing on the family farm at Route 6, Fonddu Lac. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; two sisters,Mrs. Ivan Rosenthal of Fond du Lac and Mrs. Henry Waldschmidt ofCampbellsport, WI and a brother William C. of Kewaskum. A sister preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Matthews UnitedMethodist Church. The Rev. Lester Thiel will officiate and burial will bein Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home andat the church from 9 a.m. Saturday until the time of services.
