Rein Christening: 11-27-1890 Sponsors: Johannes Rein, Christian Immel, Katherine Rein, Frau KatherineImmel Christening record states name as Johann Christian Albert OBITUARY-Commonwealth Reporter, Fond du Lac, WI - Dated: 2-19-1965 Top Dairy Farmer Dies At Age Of 74 Albert Immel Service To Be At St. Peter's Lutheran Church Albert Immel, 74, of 45 Fifteenth Street, died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at his home. He was born October 9, 1890, in the Town of Forest, the son of George andCaroline Rein Immel. He married Mabel Rabe on January 14, 1915 in Fond duLac. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last month. He farmed in the Town of Empire for 35 years and moved to Fond du Lac 15years ago. He was a member of the County Holstein Breeders Associationand was named top dairyman for the year 1960. Survivors include his widow; one son, Gordon, Route 3; two daughters,Mrs. Geraldine Miritz of Route 3, and Mrs. Dorothy Wollerman of Route 4;12 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Hettwer, Route 4 and Mrs.Lillian Gneiser of Fond du Lac; six brothers, Irving of Larson, Edward ofTaycheedah, Arnold of Milwaukee, Oscar and Arthur of Route 2, Ernest ofFond du Lac. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday from St. Peter's LutheranChurch, the Rev. Karl Gurgel officiating. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Sunday at the Bidlingmaier Funeral Home. The body will be removed to thechurch at 11 a.m. Monday to lie in state until the time of service. Burial will be in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. Commonwealth Reporter - Dated: 2-23-1965 Funeral services for Albert Immel, who died Thursday, were held Monday at2 p.m. from St. Peter's Lutheran Church, the Rev. Karl Gurgelofficiating. Earl Rolloff was the organist. The eighth grade children'schoir sang. Burial was in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers were C.J. Will, Anton Goebel, Albert Menne, Henry Fiebig,Albert Kramer, Edward Byrnes.
