Fourth St., Red Wing, died thismorning at St. John's Hospital where she was a patient 10 days. BornJuly 31, 1900, in Hay Creek Township to John and Mathilda Bremer, shegrew up and attended District 122 school in Hay Creek. She alsoattended St. John's Parochial School in Red Wing. Her marriage to John H. G. Strusz took place Feb. 23, 1922, in RedWing. They farmed in the Hay Creek area until retiring and moving toRed Wing in 1966. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in HayCreek and the VFW Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband; two sons, Luvern E. Strusz of Red Wing andMarvin of Kimball, Minn.; five daughters, Mrs. Harris (Helen) Eppen ofRed Wing, Mrs. Luvern (Hermina) Alms an Mrs. Elroy (Doris) Rusch ofGoodhue, Mrs. Richard H. (Elaine) Diercks of Red Wing and Mrs. Dennis(Janice) Steig of Rogers, Minn.; 27 grandchildren and 20great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harry and Annard Bremer, both ofRed Wing; and one sister, Mrs. Lucille Strusz, Red Wing. Preceding her in death were one sister, one brother and twograndchildren. Funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, HayCreek, Rev. Victor Meyr officiating. Envaultment will be in OakwoodCemetery. Friends may call at Bodelson Funeral Home Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to9 p.m. and Monday from noon to the time of the service at the church.
