The following acording to Myrtle Seitz Sell (1962). "Sarah Jane Seitzwas born August 19, 1876 and died February 12, 1948. She tool care ofthe younger children and helped Father (Joshua) in his tailoring shop.Went to school to 5th grade. Went to Baltimore and worked for hersister Carrie, dressmaking. Then came back to Hanover after Carriemarried and worked in Mrs. Shearer's Millinery store. From there,went to York PA and worked in the BonTon Store in Millinery for anumber of years. She married C. Walter Zeigler of York at New Haven,CT, where her sister Carrie, then resided. Sarah and Walter had avery fine home in York. No children. Sarah Jane endured sevenoperations during her lifetime, the last causing kidney failure andher death February 12, 1948. She died in Hanover Hospital. Buried inYork Cemetery.
