John Jenft died at his home in Seattle Wednesday evening. He is survivedby his wife, Mrs. Sophia Young Jenft, and twin sons, two and a half yearsold. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9 o’clock in StJames Cathederal.

Sophie's husband, John, died in 1927 when the twin boys were 2 1/2. Shenever remarried. Instead, she and her sister-in-law, Olive, DanielYoung's widow, shared a house together. They grew the most beautifulflowers in their yard in Sultan. Sophie was the first telephone operatorin Sultan. She later invested in real estate. The Jenft Building stillstands on Main St. in Sultan.
