Funeral services were held Tuesday for Rolla Hickman, 75, of Shelbina, who succumbed to a heart attack in his car Sunday after leaving the home of a son, Lee Hickman, near Plevna. He died near the Paul Minor home, being en route to visit Mrs. Hickman's brother, James Hall. The funeral will be held at the Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina, the Rev. J. L. Shoemaker officiating. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Mr. Hickman, a retired farmer, has lived in Shelbina since 1950. A son of Henry and Harriet Hickman, he was born in Shelby County, June 12, 1880. He married Emma Flo Hall, who survives with two sons, Lee of Plevna and William of Kansas City, and a daughter, Mrs. Vera Salyer of Wichita, Kans. Two brothers are also living, Guy Hickman of Aurora, Colo., and W. J. Hickman of Wood Lake, Nebr. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bruce Hickman of Plevna and Henry B.
