Notes for this person
Kevin Allen Wagner, age 59, a resident of Cincinnati, OH, passed away on January 6, 2022. Born January 4, 1963 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Eugene and Marilyn Wagner (nee Potter). In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Erika Wagner; brother, John Wagner. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 28 years, Christine Wagner; children, Kari Wagner, Kurt Wagner, Aaron Wagner, Sarah Wagner (fiancé Logan Jones), Elizabeth Wagner; siblings, Mark Wagner (Mary), Missy Dance (Ron), Beth Robb (John); grandchildren, Victoria Howarth and Jackson Heagle; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Kevin was a 1981 graduate of Elder High School and accomplished a trade career as a Master Electrician. He was self-employed serving his community and close friends in an honest and caring way. He impacted the lives of all who knew him, including clients, especially close friends and family. He also lived life to the fullest keeping his adrenaline rushing with bicycle and motorcycle racing as well as flying with his private aviator license. Kevin was an avid golfer and frequented several courses in our area or wherever he found a unique course out of town on vacation. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends being a spectator in several golfing events in addition to playing. He would spend every Sunday keeping up to date with the current golf tournaments with his family. Also, he was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hiking and being in nature. He and his wife would enjoy long weekend vacations exploring new adventures and making memories together. He never met a stranger with his unique and loving personality and was considered to be one of the kindest people you would have met. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Spring Grove Funeral Home, 4389 Spring Grove Ave, from 6-8 PM. Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Spring Grove Funeral Home at 11 AM. He will be laid to rest at Spring Grove Cemetery following the ceremony.
