Erwähnt in 2 Konsistorialprotokollen 03.03.+19.06.1659: Er habe ohne Erlaubnis in der Kapelle St. Reinoldi (Solingen-Rupelrath) gepredigt und ein Paar getraut.
geschrieben (von Albert Weyersberg, dem Nestor der Solinger Genealogie):
"Von geschätzter Seite ging mir ferner die Mitteilung zu, daß Tilman
PLATZHOF, gebürtig aus Solingen (worunter sowohl Stadt als Kirchspiel
gemeint sein kann), in den Jahren 1641 bis 1643 zu Mülheim am Rhein, wo er
am 15. April 1641 ordiniert worden war, als Predigtgehilfe des reformierten
Pfarrers Wirtz fungierte. Für die Solinger Pfarrer predigte er öfter an der
Reinoldi-Kapelle, 1643 oder 1644 erhielt er die Pfarrstelle zu Dhünn, wo er
noch 1647 stand." (Jg. 6, S. 134).
Damit ist also gesichert, daß Tilmann nie Pfarrer in Solingen war, sondern
nur aushilfsweise dort gepredigt hat.
