Hein</span> <br />(January 11, 1930 - May 24, 2014)</p> <p> </p> <div style="text-align: justify;">Kathryn "Kathy" E. Hein, 84 years of Fremont passed away Saturday May 24, 2014 at A.J. Merrick Manor in Fremont. Kathy was born Jan. 11, 1930 at Uehling, NE to Charlie and Irene (Suhr) Hein.</div> <p>Kathy grew up at Yutan, NE and was a 1947 graduate of Yutan High School. She attended Midland College for a short time. Kathy has been in Fremont since 1947 and worked at Montgomery Wards for 15 years. OnNov. 1, 1965 she bought the Greyhound Bus Depot in Fremont. She was a commissioned agent for Arrow-Greyhound Bus Lines for over 20 years. Kathy then worked as a care provider for Nebraska Social Services for many years.</p> <p>Kathy was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Fremont and was very active as a church volunteer and an over 20 year member of the Social Ministry Committee at Salem. She served on the Fremont Low Income Ministry Board for 6 years.</p> <p>Survivors include her brother, Charles Hein of Sabetha, KS; nephew Chuck Hein of Omaha; niece Jennifer Hein of Ann Arbor, MI; great niece & nephew, Sydney & Jonathan Hein; special friends, Joyce Siems and Karolyn and Rod Sherman all of Fremont.</p> <p>Kathy was preceded in death by her parents.</p> <p>Funeral service will be 2:30 P.M. Thursday at Salem Lutheran Church in Fremont. The Revs. Michael Thomas and Del Hutton will officiate. Visitation will 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Burial will beat Memorial Cemetery, Fremont NE.</p> <p>Memorials are suggested to Salem Lutheran Church in Fremont.</p> <p>Moser Memorial Chapel, 2160 N.
