<p><p>Info from Dennis Sehee</p></p><p><p>Buried Hillside Cemtary, Medicine Hat Alberta</p></p><p><p>Conrad & Maria Nittel came to Canada in 1913 with their oldest daughter Erna. All other children were born in Canada</p></p><p><p>ON May 29 1913 Conrad homesteaded on the SE 1/4 of 4-49-6-4. His wife Mary died in 1919 and left him with 5 small children. Conrad them married Elisabeth Hepper whobrought 4 small children with her from a previous marriage. They had an additional 6 children together.</p></p><p><p>Due to poor roads and long distance to school Conrad & Elisabeth rebuilt on SW1/4 0f 3-8-6-4 in 1928. No matter id you went east, west, north or south you had to go through a coulee.</p></p><p><p>The family althoug very large and diversified in age, enjpyed family times together including morning devotions, every morning even if it meant running all the way to school in order to get there on time. Although this was a big family , they never remembered going hungry, but occasionally traded pickles for oranges at school.</p></p><p>Dad & Mom Heller retired from the farm and moved to Medicine Hat in the fall of 1946. Edwin took over the farm. Theophill and his wife Lizzie [and later their daughter Sharon] stayed with him for lmost 2 years. Meanwhile in town Dad worke at Revelstoke Lumber yard untill 1956. He passed away in 1958 after a short illness. Mon Heller passed away in Aug of 1970 after a battle with cancer.</p>
