Der Täuflingsmacher Konrad Arnold wurde mundartlich "Kunrod" genannt.
Seine Tochter Auguste heiratete A. Müller und brachte so den Beinamen "Kunrod" in die Familie Müller, wo er sich bis heute erhalten hat. In Neustadt kauft man seine Elektrogräte nicht beim "Radio Müller" sondern beim "Kunrod"
Vom "Kunrod" stammt auch der sog. "Kunst- oder Distelgärtner" Theodor Arnold ab.
