[Update_ANSI.ged] Lehnsmaenn (Tenure Holder or Vassal of the Abbots of Corvey) Junior in difference from his cousin Henrich Dohmann, senior; me ntioned in the tenure letters 1645, 1672, 1682, 1688, 1698, an d 1700 at the census of Amelunxen. Henrich's birth and death dates are my estimates. The referenc e document above does not have this information. However, if hi s father (Thies) was born about 1574 and his son (Jost) was bor n about 1657 then it seems reasonable to assume that Henrich wa s born about 1610. Also since he was mentioned in the census o f 1700 (when he would have been about 90), it seems reasonable t hat he was in his latest years about that time so I have estimat ed his death about 1700. (Richard Dohmann estimated his death be tween 1698 and 1706). He is known to be the son of Thies Dohman from a document of 1 N ov 1674 that shows him entering into military service and he i s identified as the son of Theiss Dohman.
