Birth: Jan. 24, 1869 Montgomery County Illinois, USA Death: Jun. 14, 1950 Clarksville Montgomery County Tennessee, USA W. U. Ogg, 81, of Sango, Tennessee, died Wednesday, June 14 in a Clarksville nursing. Mr. Ogg had suffered a stoke on April 10, 1950. At the burial services on June 14, the Rev. G. W. Baxter, pastor or the Sango Methodist Church & the Rev. H. E. Darnell of Madison officiated. The services were conducted at the Sango Methodist Church. Mr. Ogg was survived by his wife, the former Susan Frances Lawrence, two brothers, Bob Ogg of Cedar HIll and Luther Ogg of Adams, and a sister, Mrs. Ed Steagall of Atlanta, GA. Also surviving were twelve children, Mrs. H.C. Yates of Thomasville, Mrs. Z.Z. Smith of Sango, Mrs. A. S. Ashley of Tuscullosa, Ala., Mrs. Clarence Mayo of Springfield, Mrs. Jerome Farmer of Nashville, Mrs. Ed Ellis of Springfield, Mrs. Grant Head of Springfield, Mrs. Georgie Ellis of Cedar HIll, Ms. Zackie Ogg of Nashville, Cullom Ogg of Madison, Gilmer Ogg of Old Hickory, & Buford Ogg of Hohenwald.
