Florentina's birth certificate officially registered her as having been born in Hesse Cassel, Germany. She was actually born in 1837 on board the ship 'Favorite' on it's way to the U.S. She arrived in Baltimore in 1838 and a year later moved to Tuscarawas County with her parents, three sisters and a brother........DWL per Ron R.
