Im Pflugschatzregister 1666 wird er als Häusling bezeichnet, und im alten Jordebuch 1670 als Neubauer. Er wird als Witwer bezeichnet, was stimmt, denn seine Ehefrau starb im Jahr zuvor. Er wird auch noch am 30.09.1683 bei Patenschaft des Sohnes Hinrich genannt. Im alten Jordebuchum 1676 als Brinkkötner und Neubauer zum Benken Lohe unter den Herrenmeyern des Amtes Rotenburg genannt, der Schmalzehnt und ein Rauchhuhnentrichtet. .
