Minnie J. Stachelschad was 41 when she died of tuberculosis.
She was the daughter of Henry Stachelschad of Louisville. Henry is buried in Cave Hill National Cemetery located next to Cave Hill. The name according to Cave Hill's data base is Stechelschaid-what it actually says on his tombstone I do not know but but in the various Caron's City Directory's of Louisville the name is always printed as Stachelshad BUT the name IS German and always open to various spelings. Henry was married twice, once to Isabel the mother of the three children and Sarah E., but what happened to them I do not know. Minnie had a sister Maude B. who married Edward Henry Rautenbusch and a brother William who went to Illinois.
I can't find Minnie on the Cave Hill Cemetery database but her death certificate says she is buried there.
