Details: Wayne was born in South Haven, MI. on February 14, 1929 to Leatha Salnave and Delbert E. McCloughan. He served in WWII earning the Victory Medal, then he served in Korea earning the Korean Service Medal with 1 Bronze Star. While at Camp Carson,he met his wife Dolores Marcella Doerflinger. They married February 23, 1952 until her death in November 1978. He was preceded in death by both parents, a brother, a sister, and son Wade. Wayne was active in Boy Scouts, Share Colorado, VFW, Eagles, Moose, DAV, REA, and the Elks. He retired from Mountain Bell in 1983. He is survived by daughter Debra Parrott, Son Dale McCloughan, grandchildren Joe and Charles Parrott, Amber, and Linsey McCloughan. Great grandchildren Jacob, Syrenniti, and Lara, brother Jack, and nieces and nephews. He was involved with Sportsmans Raceway Park known as Stroker the Clown, Hobbytime and M&S Camper Sales. He departed to his maker on August 23, 2009. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-7, and services Friday at 10:00, both at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
