Dorothy "Grandma" Schultz, age 84, of Plainfield, IL. At rest Sunday, September 24, 2006 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home in Joliet, IL.
She was born on May 7, 1922 in Storm Lake, IA, the daughter of the late E. J. and Anna Nitzke. She is survived by her husband, Don "Grandpa"; her children, Dennis (the late Donna) Schultz of Newark, IL, Ella (Keith) Druek of Naperville, IL, Donna Anderson of Plainfield, IL and Doreen (Craig) Swindall of Naperville, IL; her grandchildren, Dawn, Dale and Dean Schultz, Rachel and Kyra Druek, David and Amy Anderson and Sarah Swindall; her brother, William (Lucille) Nitzke of Storm Lake, IA; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents; and seven siblings.
She attended Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Naperville, IL. She and her husband enjoyed traveling all around the country on their Harley. Her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren. Memorials to Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 815 S. Washington Street, Naperville, IL 60540 would be appreciated. A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2006 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 815 S. Washington Street, Naperville, IL with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 PM. A private family inurnment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL at a later date. Arrangements by:
