Dorothy Louise ADAMS

Dorothy Louise Adams Wise, of Riverton, passed away early on the morning of 28th of February 2011 after struggling with lupus for much of her adult life.

She was born to Edward John and Marilyn Hobe Adams in Pittsburgh, PA on 21 February 1946. At the age of 8 she moved with her family to Phoenix, AZ, where she later attended Arcadia High School.

After graduating in 1964 she married her High School sweetheart Douglas Wayne Wise on 4 June 1965. Doug and Dorothy joined the LDS Church in 1972 and were sealed in the Mesa, AZ Temple.

Along with her husband, she is survived by her four children: Dana Vaughn (Sam), of Hooper, Douglas Wise, Jr., of Loa, UT, April Goldman (Trevor), of Surprise, AZ, and Nicole Harris (Brady), of Riverton; her 13 grandchildren; and her two sisters, Marilyn "Snookie" (Rick) Herndon, of Scottsdale, AZ, and Susanne Smith, of Phoenix.

A funeral service will be held Friday morning 4 March 2011 at 11:00 AM at 13375 S 6000 W, Herriman. A short viewing will precede beginning at 10:00 AM
