Scherer, Town of Forest, died at 2 p.m. Monday at their homefollowing a lengthy illness. She was born October 7, 1901 in the Town of Forest, daughter of John andEmilie Broetzmann Vetter, she was married to Mr. Scherer on September 28,1921 in the Town of Forest. Since their marriage they lived at VettersCorners. Mrs. Scherer was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church ofForest all her life. Surviving are her widower, a son, Roland R. Scherer of Ft. Lauderdale,Florida and a grandson also of Ft. Lauderdale. A brother preceded her indeath. Friends may call at the Candlish chapel after 2 p.m. Friday andat 2 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be there at 1:30 p.m. Fridayand at 2 p.m. at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, the Rev. Oscar Sieglerofficiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Commonwealth Reporter - Dated: 11-26-1960 Funeral services for Mrs. Erna M. Scherer who died Monday were at 1:30p.m. Friday at the Candlish chapel and at 2 p.m. at St. Pauls LutheranChurch, Forest. The Rev. Oscar Siegler officiating. Lawrence Schultz wasat the organ and the choir sang. Burial was in Forest Cemetery.Pallbearers were, Arnold J. Vetter, Edmund J.
