The body will be removed from theKohls funeral home, Waupun, Thursday morning to the Boelk residence,where funeral services will be held at 1:15 p.m. and at 2 p.m. in St.Lukes Lutheran Church at Oakfield, with burial in Avoca Cemetery there.The former Rose Scherer was born March 15, 1876 in the Town of Empire, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Scherer, and was married June 6, 1901 inthe Town of Forest. After their marriage the couple lived in the Town ofTaycheetah for 14 years and also in the Town of Fond du Lac. She hadresided with her daughter the last 18 years. Surviving are her widower and daughter; a son, Arnold of Waupun; sevengrandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Waldschmidt and Mrs. Mary Gneiserof Ripon and Mrs. Henry Rady, of the city; and six brothers, Henry andGeorge Scherer of Chicago, William and Otto of Town of Forest, Paul ofJuneau, and Walter of Glenbeulah. OBITUARY-Dated: 11-25-1949 Funeral services for Mrs. Ben Buchholz who died Wednesday at the home ofher son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Boelk, Waupun Route 3;will be held at 1:15 p.m. Saturday at the Boelk home and at 2 p.m. at St.Lukes Lutheran Church, Oakfield, WI. The Rev. C. Koepsel will officiate,and burial will be in Avoca Cemetery.
