Rein, 60, Expires At Family Residence Near Dotyville Charles J. Rein, 60, lifelong resident of the Town of Forest, died at2:30 p.m. Thursday at his farm home in Dotyville. Borm May 13, 1887, son of Adam and Marie Vetter Rein, he was marriedSeptember 15, 1909, to Miss Emma Reitz. The couple lived on variousfarms in the Town of Forest. Mr. Rein was a member of St. John LutheranChurch. Surviving are his widow, a daughter, Mrs. Harold Schmidt, Town ofOsceola; three grandchildren, Judith, Clifford, and David and a sister,Mrs. L.J. White, of Oakland, California. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the residence wherethe body will be removed Friday afternoon and at 2 p.m. at St. JohnChurch, the Rev. Oscar C. Siegler officiating. Burial will be in ForestCemetery. The casket will not be opened at the church. Commonwealth Reporter - Dated: 2-23-1948 Funeral services for Charles J. Rein who died Wednesday, were held at1:30 p.m. at the residence and at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church,the Rev. Oscar Siegler officiating. Vocal selections were given by aquartet composed of Arnold Schmidt, Kenneth Krug, Edgar Krug and CarletonKrug with Fred Hagedorn as accompanist. Pallbearers were, Albert and Edward Immel, John Hettwer, William Kuether,P.J. Michels, Irving Seresse. Burial was in Forest Cemetery. Those attending from out of town were, Mrs. L.J. White, of Oakland,California; Mr. and Mrs. Karl Krause, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Walters, Mr. andMrs. Arnold Beutler of Oshkosh; Mr. and Mrs. Irvine Immel, Mr. and Mrs,Frank Leetz of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Pade, Mr. and Mrs. JohnKrueger of Lomira; Mr. and Mrs. George F. Meyer, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Guhl ofDale; Mr. and Mrs. P.J. Michels and family of Berlin.
