Contracted Polio and was crippled in wheelchair most of her life. Obituary-Death Date- March 5, 1978 Memorial services for Mrs. Robert D. (Edna A.) Day, 62, of 2238 E. Evergreen St., Mesa, AZ. were held recently at the Chapel of the Roses. She died Sunday, March 5, 1978, at her home. The Rev. David Schultz officiated. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Emma Kinkel Stark. She grauated from St. Peters Lutheran School and Winnebago Lutheran Academy of Fond du Lac and received nurses training at Deaconess Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. Mrs. Day was a World War II Army nurse and served in the China-Burma-India Theater. She was a member of the Retired Officers Association and Pilgrim Evangelical Lutheran Church. She moved to Arizona in 1954, six years after her marriage to Robert Day. Survivors include her husband; and a sister, Mrs. Florence Nehls of Fond du Lac, WI
