Howe Stout was born in Toledo township on Jan. 10, 1904. He and Mabel M. Lawrence were married Nov. 6, 1926. Mr. Stout is survived by his wife; two daughters, Martha Kessler of New York City and Sarah Scahill of Berkeley, Calif.; a sister, Margaret ImMasche of Strong City; two brothers, Kenneth Stout of Denison, Tex., and Donald Stout of San Antonio, Tex., and two grandsons, Andy Kessler and Benjamin Scahill. Mr. Stout was a former member of the Saffordville Masonic Lodge. He was a 1931 graduate of the College of Emporia. Mr. Stout's body was cremated. Inurnment will be in Hillside Cemetery.
