The Rev. Jim Harrell will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham. Visitation also will be at Industry United Methodist Church from 7 a.m. to service time at the church. Mrs. Hupe died Tuesday in Colonial Belle Nursing Home in Bellville. She was born in New Ulm, Texas. She graduated from New Ulm High School and received her teacher’s certificate in San Marcos. She was a member of Industry United Methodist Church and previously was a member of New Ulm Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Bertha Circle and taught Sunday school. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred O. Hupe. Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Wilfred and Dorothy Hupe of Brenham, Ralph Hupe of Texas City; a daughter and son-in-law, Alice and Donald Morris of Pearland; two sisters, Elinor Franke of Industry, Carla Smith of Corpus Christi; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Industry United Methodist Church.
