Mrs. Magdalena Pint, 92, of Independence, former Waterloo resident, died at the Hendron Nursing home at Hazleton at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Death was due to a heart ailment and complications incident to advanced age.
Mrs. Pint formerly made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Donald Power, 550 Archer Ave.
She was born Magdalena Reuter on Jan. 24, 1870, in Joliet, Ill. She was married to Edward Pint in Gilbertville in 1895. Her husband died in 1935.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. John Harman, Brandon; Mrs. Roland Blitch, Buckingham; Mrs. Donald Power, 550 Archer Ave., and one son, Leo Pint, Independence; Three half brothers, Robert Riter, 1309 W. Donald St.; William Riter, 116 Randolph Ave., Evansdale; and Louis Riter, LeRoy, Minn.; three half sisters, Mrs. William Pint, Independence; Mrs. John Welter, Lamont; Mrs. Mat Schuler, FAirbank; 27grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, three daughters, three sons and three half brothers.
Funeral services are pending at the Hawe funeral home in Independence.

PINT, MAGDALINA (REUTER)
Funeral services for Mrs. Magdalena Pint will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, at St. John's Catholic Church. The Rev. Raymond Herman of Farley, grandson, will officiate at the service and burial is at St. John's Cemetery.
Mrs. Pintdied Tuesday, Dec. 18, at the Hendron Nursing home, in Hazelton, where she had been the past 3 months. Prior to that she made her home with her son, Leo, near Independence.
She was born on 1-24-1870 at Spencer, Illinois, the daughter of Chris and Anna Buckenfinsh Reuter. She married Edward Pint Oct. 27, 1896 at Gilbertville. The couple farmed near Independence until Mr. Pint's death in1935.
Survivors include three daughters: Angie (John) Herman, Brandon; Ida (Roland) Blitsch, Buckingham; Celia (Donald) Power, and one son, Leo. 30 grandchildren, and 30 great grandchildren.
Also surviving are three half sisters: Mrs. William Pint; Mrs. Matthew Schuler of Fairbank; Mrs. John Welter, of Masonville; and three half brothers: William Reuter, Evansdale; Robert , of Waterloo; and Louis of LeRoy, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 daughters, three sons, and three half brothers.Quellenangaben
