Bäcker in Grünstadt, zog 1915 nach Kapellen-Drusweiler wegen Herzleiden um. 1921, das ja bekanntlich besonders heiß war, waren Vater, 13-jährig, in den Hundertmorgen und haben mit der Sense Korn abgemacht. Und als sie heimkamen, lag Opa an Herzschlag tot im Bett.
