Mr. Kapp was employed by General Motors Corp. for 37 years and hadworked at the Corvette Plant in St. Louis, Mo., until 1981, when hemoved to Bowling Green. He worked at the Corvette Plant in BowlingGreen until he retired in 2003. He was a member of United AutoWorkers, The Knights of Columbus, Moose Lodge and Fraternal Order ofEagles. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Kapp and LawrenceKapp; and a stepson, Ronnie Jessie. Surviving are his wife, Marie, nee Brown, Kapp; a daughter, Cheryl(Paul) Pittman of Memphis, Tenn.; a stepdaughter and stepson ofGlasgow, Ky.; his parents, John and Alvera Kapp of Aviston, Ill.;three brothers, Daniel (Melody) Kapp and John Kapp both of Highland,Ill., and Duane Kapp of Clinton, Iowa; two sisters, Judy (Donald)Markus of Aviston, Ill., and Sharon (Dave) Coyne of Kankakee, Ill.; agranddaughter, Shaundra Pittman of Memphis, Tenn; fivestepgrandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; his former wife,Mary Ann (Janceck) Kapp Hemkor; seven nephews; a niece; a step-nieceand a step-great-niece; two step-nephews and a step-great-nephew. Funeral: Funeral Service was held Saturday at Hardy and Son FuneralHome, Bowling Green Chapel, Bowling Green, Ky. Burial was in BethelCemetery, Bowling Green, Ky.
