He was born January 31, 1917, in Highland, IL, the son of John andMaggie (Holzinger) Kapp. On November 30, 1940, he married Alvera B. Kapp, nee Wiesemeyer, whosurvives. After his marriage, they lived in Trenton, and later he farmed bothdairy and grain near Pierron, IL. He also worked for Pierron CO-OP andlater worked at Munie Gravel Pit where he drove a truck. He and hiswife moved to Highland in 1983 and retired. He enjoyed playing manydifferent card games and socializing with people. He was a member of Saint Paul Catholic Church.
