<p>Esther Eyman, formerly of Havana, died Sept 19 at the Beverly Manor Nursing Home in Iowa City, Iowa. <br /><br />Born Jan 2, 1915 in Mason County, she was a daughter of Emery and Ethel Sapp Smith.She married Dr. John P. Eyman May 9, 1935 at Havana. He died Sept 4, 1974.<br /><br />Surviving are three sons, Darrel P. and Jerry Lee both of Iowa City and L. Dean Eyman of Oak Ridge, Tenn. She hadtaught school until retiring in 1983.<br /><br />Funeral services were held Sep 23 at the Hurley Funeral Home with burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery.</p>
