From Guardian Angel Catholic Church Records compiled by Ramona Glastetter, p.109. Jerone "Buddy" M. Tenkhoff, 70 years old, of 1414 Perryville Road, Died early today (July 1, 1983) in St. Francis Medical Center. He was born Nov. 12, 1912, at Oran. Mr. Tenkhoff married the former Georgia Mouser Feb 13, 1943, and she survives. The Tenkhoffs moved to Cape Girardeau from Oran 40 years ago. Mr. Tenkhoff was a retired registered pharmaist, formerly working in the St. Francis Medical Center Pharmacy. He was a veteran of World War II, and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are only son, Michael G. Tenkhoff, Nitro, VA; a daughtr, Mrs. A. (Mary Margaret) Hanacker, Atlanta, GA; his mother, Mrs. Mary Tenkhoff, Oran; three brothers, Germaine Tenkhoff, Glen W. Tenkhoff and Bernard A. Tenkhoff, all of Oran; and three grandchildren, Christina Haanacker, Elizabeth Tenkhoff and Sarah Tenkhoff. His father, two brothers and one sister preceded him in death. Friends may call at Walther's Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Sunday. Parish prayers will be said at 7:30 p.m. Sunday night by St. Vincent de Paul Parish. Funeral Mass will be at 10 Monday morning at St.Vincent de Paul Church with the Rev. Richard Jansen officiatlng. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Tenkhoff, Jere Tenkhoff, Homer Schnurbusch, Thomas L. Meyer, James Freeman and Burl Statler.
