Publish date: 10/21/2006 Waunita C.COON , 95, of Loveland died Oct. 20, 2006,at Sierra Vista Health Care Center. She was born Oct. 25, 1910, in Loveland toCarl and Clara Clymer. She grew up in Loveland and graduated from Loveland HighSchool in 1928. She married C. Beryl Coon on Sept. 2, 1933, in Fort Collins.He died in 1987. A homemaker, Mrs. Coon lived in her current home for 65 years. She was a member of the Loveland chapter of the Daughters of the AmericanRevolution, did volunteer work at the Seventh-day Adventist Church of Lovelandand was the clerk at the church for many years. She wrote poems and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, working on genealogy and loving her grandchildren. She issurvived by her son, Ron Coon, and his wife, Eunice, of Loveland; a brother, Marlin Clymer, and his wife, Betty, of Loveland; a sister-in-law, Mary Clymer of Loveland; grandchildren LaVeta Smikahl, Ronna Kiel and husband Leonard, Steven Coon, and Karleen Hall and husband Tony; great-grandchildren Cindy Buchannan and husband Tom, LaRelle Smikahl, Ryan and Jesse Coon, Tiffany, Michelle and Megan Hall and Mellisa Coon; great-great-grandchildren Terry and Mellisa Coon; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, one sister and a grandson. A viewing will take place 4-5 p.m. Wednesday at Viegut Funeral Home. The casket will be closed at the funeral at 2 p.m. Thursday atthe Seventh-day Adventist Church, 950 N. Cleveland Ave. Burial will be in the Loveland Burial Park.
