Later the family moved to a farm just south of theChalk Hills at Scotia Nebraska, with land in sections 21, 22, and 28. After they moved to 406 Greeley St., Scotia, his son, William, lived and farmed the place. The farm was occupied by Daryl Holt, a great-grandson, as of 1982.The original home place on the farm burned down and was replaced. The six youngest children, three of whom survived childhood, were born in Nebraska.
