Leupold IV. (died 1395), the oldest son of Konrad I was married with a daughter from the ratsfähigen merchant family Amman and had five children [3]. When in 1370 the election fell for the first time to the younger mayor, the advice writer junior designated it. The one-year term remained unoccupied until 1386 when again he was again elected as the young mayor. During this Council he represented the city government's until his untimely death or was terminated in 1388. During his tenure on the council chamber towards the end of his life Leupold IV dressed the rank of older mayor. This happened in the years 1388/89 and continued from 1391 to 1394. His death shield was brought to hospital church, where he was buried in the Lorenz Chapel, near to where he lived. On 4 September 1395 his family after his death donated a coat of arms death shield to the Lorenz Church. The Schürstabs among other things traded in furs, cloth, tin and copper. The children of Leupolds IV were married to quite distinguished people but the sons and all further descendants did not follow into the council. Because of his resignation the last Schürstab of the Greater Council was that of Leupolds IV grandson Lorenz (died 1469) councilor in 1458.
