Curriculum and career: Hans Gruber was 1552 Plattschlossermeister. In this craft, the mechanics and watchmaking were united. He is regarded as a skilled mechanic, the pocket of 2 cm in diameter was building. In Württembergerischen Landesmuseum in Stuttgart has a Türmchenuhr received, which he built in 1583 for the Danish King Frederick II (1534-1588). Here is hidden on the left side is a sundial which is set to the latitude of Denmark. Among other watches and gun towers has received from him a square box made of brass sundial in the collection, Bill Meier, London.
