Johannes Gravert - Die Bauernhöfe der Kremper- und Kollmar-Marsch 1976: Die Familie Thormälen, früher thor Möhlen, thor Möhl, thor Mölen, Tormolen, auch zur Mühlen geschrieben, ist wahrscheinlich holländischer Abkunft, aber schon seit Jahrhunderten hier ansässig und schon damals so verbreitet, namentlich in der Kollmar Marsch, dass eine Vereinigung der verschiedenen Linien nicht mehr möglich ist.
