MC obtained August 1999. JAR is noted as Grazier of "Calooma" Station, Queensland, probably part of "Currawillinghi", and like it, now given to Aborigines. DC certified by A R Palmer, nephew, of 163 Avenue Road, Mosman. (son of Alice Palmer nee Robertson). On his mother's dc he is the informant of "Tremorne", Loomberah, Tamworth. He left off three deceased children (deliberately?), namely James Albert Robertson (1879-1884), Ruby Foxton Robertson (1891-1894), and Dorothy, b 1901. JAR later became a tick inspector on the NSW-Qld border, and then bought a farm "Tremorne" at Loomberah, near Tamworth NSW, or "Glendower" from other sources. He stayed at Loomberah until he retired and then came to Sydney to live at 183 Trafalgar Street, Petersham. He worked at the Hobart Scale Manufacturing Company as a packer for some years, up to and including the years of WW 11 (about 1941-1951).Death notice in the SMH 10 November 1952, notes he died at Petersham, late of Tamworth and Angledool, husband of the late Ada Penelope Robertson, father of John, aged 74 years.
