Funeral services for Mrs. Florion Hillesheim, near Leavenworth, were held last Thursday morning at the Church of the Japanese Martyrs at Leaven worth at 10:00 o'clock. Rev. Nicholas Wilhelmy officiated and interment was in the church cemetery. Mars. Hillesheim, 49, died at the Municipal hospital Saturday afternoon, November 6, at 2:00 'clock following an illness of about three months. She was a patient at Loretto hospital in New Ulm and St. Mary's hospital in Rochester before being taken to the Municipal hospital about three weeks before her death. Clara Sellner was born to Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Sellner <../marge.html> in Albin township September 27, 1894 and married Florian Hillesheim at St Mary's Catholic church October 6, 1913. To this union two sons were born, Arthur, living near Leavenworth, and Raymond, at home. The are three grandchildren. Besides her husband, sons and grandchildren, she is mourned by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. P. N. Hillesheim, East Linden; Mrs. Frank Wensauer, Mulligan township; Mars. Anton Haala, Leavenworth township; Mrs. Frank Lilla, Stirrum, North Dakota; Louis Sellner, Mulligan township; George Sellner, Stark township; Ed. Sellner, Albin township. Deceased was a member of the Church of the Japanese Martyrs and of the Christian Mothers Society. Pallbearers were Leonard Haala, Edmond Hillesheim, Raymond Wensauer, Clarence Sellner, Aloysius Sellner, Melvin Sellner. Attending the funeral from a distance were Clara Pelzel, Bertha Gores, Hubert Gores, Wabasso; Mrs. Christ Hillesheim, Springfield; Joe Zwaschka, Lucan; Mr and Mrs. Fred Hanson, Lucan.
