Mrs. Jos. A. Sellner, well known Mulligan Township mother, passed away at Loretto Hospital, New Ulm, Sunday morning shortly after seven o'clock following an illness of over two years. Suffering from a complication of ailments, she was taken to the hospital four weeks ago, but her condition failed to improve. She had been seriously ill several weeks. Mrs. Joseph A. Sellner, nee Christina A. Hillesheim, was born September 12, 1881, in Sigel Township and married her surviving husband October 13, 1908. Since their marriage they have lived in Mulligan. Besides her husband deceased is survived by five sons and three daughters; namely, Hubert J. Sellner, Faribault; Mrs. Mike Windschitl, Comfrey; Sylvester J., Aloysius J., Josephine M., Raymond J., Norbert F., and Gertrude A. Sellner, all at home. A son , Peter preceded his mother in death. These are tow grandchildren. She also leaves eight brothers and seven sisters; namely, Jos. A. Hillesheim, Stark; Mrs. B. H. Pelzel, Wabasso; Christ Hillesheim, Springfield; Peter Hillesheim, Sleepy Eye; Sister M. Huberta, Norfolk, Nebraska; Mrs. P. A. Gores, Wabasso, Barney Hillesheim, Sigel; John Hillesheim, Mulligan; Mrs. Fred Mickelson, Home; Frank Hillesheim, Stark; Mrs. Oscar Juenneman, Springfield; Florian Hillesheim, Leavenworth; Mrs. William Guggisberg, Gibbon; Mrs. John Juenneman, Wabasso; and Henry Hillesheim, Stark Township. Funeral services were held at the Church of Japanese Martyrs in Leavenworth Wednesday morning at 9:30 and burial was made in the Catholic cemetery there. Deceased was a member of the Christian Mother's Society of the Leavenworth Church.
