DANVILLE COMMERCIAL-NEWS, 14 Dec. 1938. Connected with the mining industry for past 38 years, Frank Potts, 64, mine timberman with Runsenville Coal Mine, died at his home on Taylor Ave., Central Park, Danville Route 4, at 11:55 p. m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, 1938. He had been ill for last several weeks. Before coming to Danville, Mr. Potts was connected with the anthracite coal industry in Pottsville Pa. He was born in Lithuania, a son of John and Julia Pauliski. Mr. Potts, who had been a resident of Central Park 30 years, was affiliated with the Moose Lodge and the miners local. Surviving are his widow, Gertrude Hicks [sic] Potts, and a sister, in Lithuania. Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death. The body has been taken to the residence, where it will remain until Friday morning when it will be returned to Edmund & Dickson Funeral Home for funeral services at 2 p.m. in the Chapel. Burial in Sunset Memorial Park.
