Margaret Marie (Schaefer) Koenig, 87, Freelandville, passed away Saturday February 9, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Margaret was born July 1, 1925 in Freelandville, the daughter of John and Anna (Buescher) Schaefer. She married Max Koenig and he passed in December 1992.
She was a farm wife and worked for North Knox School Corporation as a matron. She was a member of the Bethel Church in Freelandville, IN, the Bethel Women's Guild, and Christian Partners Sunday school class.

The family will receive friends on Thursday February 14, 2013 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Bethel Church in Freelandville, with funeral services beginning at 2:00 PM also at the church with Pastor Mike DeCoursey officiating and burial following at Bethel Cemetery.
