Notizen zu dieser Person
Place of death, Watonwan County, taken from Minnesota death index. Thefollowing was received from Find-A-Grave contributor KNielsen Rabbe #50858978 who requested that his place of death be changed to Martin County, Minnesota. Since his official place of death is Watonwan County, I chose to leave that on his memorial but wanted to be sure to include hernotes to me for those researching this family.
Fred committed suicide in his home in Ormsby, Minnesota on a Sunday morning while his wife was across the street in church. The Bolte house was immediately across the street to the east from Grace Lutheran Church.
Ormsby's Main Street is the county line between Martin and Watonwan Counties, with Martin including everything south of Main Street and Watonwan everything north of Main Street. Fred & Lizzie's house was on the south side of Main Street, which puts it in Martin County. Fred was takenfrom his home to the Trimont Hospital in Trimont, Minnesota, where itwas determined he had died before arriving.
The coroner who filed the report was from St. James, Minnesota, which may explain why he listed the place of death as Watonwan County rather than Martin.
