Bernice Dube ZumMallen was born on September 11, 1921 to T.J. and OlgaDube in Bishop,Tx. She passed away on August 11, 2015 at the age of 93.At the age of three the family moved to La Pryor, TX where she completed high school. On March 20, 1946 she married Bernard ZumMallen following his return from the European theatre after the end of World War 11. Bernice's hobbies were sewing, cooking, and China Painting. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. Bernice is survived by her daughter Sylvia Mardell Gerry of Bellingham, WA; her sons Bernard Wayne and Darrell Glenn ZumMallen of San Antonio, TX: her grandchildren Richard Brett Gerry of San Francisco, CA; along with Sydney Lynn and Micheal WayneZumMallen of San Antonio, Texas. She is also survived by her sister, Olivia Thiele and her husband, Louis of Kerville,TX. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents T.J. and Olga Dube. Also she was preceded byher four brothers Victor, Arnold Marving and Gilbert Dube. Lastly she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bernard ZumMallen. FuneralArrangements are pending.
